The Grim Facts About Youth aging out of Institutional Care:

Ouléma Foundation offers a 3-5 year residential program to support young adults transitioning out of orphanages, equipping them with life skills for a secure future. We prioritize their well-being, focusing on strengths, and preparing them for the workforce. Through mentorship and peer connections, we provide a supportive environment for them to thrive.

The statistics are alarming: most youth leaving institutional care face homelessness and struggle with employment and education. Less than 3% earn a college degree by age 26. We aim to break this cycle by providing scholarships, mentorship, and educational support.

Beyond academic challenges, these youth face instability, trauma, and mental health issues, putting them at risk of exploitation and involvement in crime. Human trafficking is a real threat, with 60% of young women ending up in the sex industry.

With your support, we can give these youth the tools to overcome adversity and build a brighter future. Your generosity enables us to offer mentorship, education, and vocational training, breaking the cycle of poverty and exploitation. Join us in empowering care leavers for a brighter tomorrow.
